It is with great honor that we invite you to take part in our conference of the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, with a specific focus on Neurorehabilitation. This unique scientific gathering is led by the Emirates Society for Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine (ESRSM), in collaboration with the World Federation for NeuroRehabilitation (WFNR), and the Middle East and North Africa Spinal Cord Injury Network (MENASCI).

 

The conference, titled The Emirates Society of Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine Conference 2022 in association with the 2nd Regional Neurorehabilitation Conference (supported by WFNR) & 3rd MENASCI Annual Congress will be in a hybrid format encompassing in person and virtual speakers. It will be held across 3-days and includes pre-conference workshops on recent advances in the treatment of neurological conditions and their complications, as well as updates on methods in musculoskeletal rehabilitation. The event will gather 1000+ healthcare professionals such as neurologists, physical medicine and rehabilitation physicians, occupational therapists, and rehabilitation nurses working in neurorehabilitation, as well as physicians and therapists working in the musculoskeletal field.

 

As Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and in particular, neurorehabilitation continue to evolve, it becomes increasingly challenging for clinicians to maintain state-of-the-art care for their patients. This congress will use plenary lectures and smaller breakout sessions, including case-based workshops, to update the audience on medical, psychological, physical, and cognitive approaches to neurorehabilitation as well as addressing specific skills and summarizing the most up to date research in these fields.

 

Based on your participation in the conference, you will be able to expand your clinical knowledge and enhance those skills needed to maximize the physical, cognitive, and social function of patients with traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, stroke, and neurodegenerative disease within rehabilitation medicine. We are confident the varied three-day programme will provide the opportunity to will learn about the latest research, treatment, and management and updated guidelines that are essential to effective multidisciplinary patient care in the field of rehabilitation medicine.
